Senior Enterprise Architect

We are seeking an experienced and visionary IT leader to lead solutioning and architectural direction for mission-critical technology programs.

The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background in integration architecture, web-scale application development, and data architecture, particularly in designing solutions that drive business value.

The candidate will have experience in leading Pega Low-Code-Approach using Pega App Studio, Pega DCO and Appian, conducting elaboration sessions, and working with project teams to provide expert advice not only on the business requirements but also how to best express requirements and design based on industry knowledge.

• Design and govern scalable architectures using Front End Engineering and Cloud Native Architectures
• Define integration blueprints that connect digital systems with core industry platforms via REST, FHIR, HL7, or API gateways
• Architect microservices-based solutions with appropriate separation of concerns, scalability, and maintainability
• Define and guide data architecture decisions, including real-time integration, event-driven design, and use of cloud-native data stores
• Assess legacy modernization paths, define transformation roadmaps, and ensure alignment to enterprise standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and DevOps teams to ensure architectural alignment through delivery
• Should have LSA certification
• Lead and drive the architectural design and integration strategy for a Pega application implementation, in alignment with transformational initiatives
• Formulate the overall data strategy for the business solution, based on the clients business needs and enterprise strategy
• Provide architectural guidance and act as the subject matter expert for integration strategy
• Drive and instil best practices and concepts as a thought leader for Pega methodology
• Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies / products / trends related to architectural solutions
• Ensure alignment of solutions with business and IT goals / objectives
• Identify and quantify scope and impact of Business requirements and changes on systems
• Communicate solution options to business owners/stakeholders (e.g. architecture reviews)
• Incorporate software and system architecture (e.g. infrastructure, network) into conceptual designs for highly scalable and performing solutions
• Ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards (e.g. solution patterns, application frameworks, technology roadmaps, capital plans)
• Provide strategic thinking, solutions and roadmaps while driving enterprise recommendations and ensuring adherence to established standards and practices including the development of standards and practices where they may not yet exist
• Provide ownership for all requirement and solution definition artifacts throughout the project lifecycle including TOM and Traceability Matrices
• Facilitate open communication and fact - based decision making
• Develop innovative approaches to challenging and complex assignments
• Anticipate customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them
• Research, identify, and recommend industry best practices for solving business problems
• Forecast and plans resource requirements
• Excellent interpersonal skills and should motivate and lead other team members
• Provide architecture leadership in RFP responses, client pitches, and delivery planning sessions

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 12-18 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in enterprise architecture or lead solution architecture roles
• Knowledge in scalable front-end and backend development:

Frontend: React.js, Redux, Webpack, Responsive UI

Backend: Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs

• Strong understanding of Integration Architecture, including:

RESTful services, FHIR/HL7, event-driven design (Kafka or similar)

API gateways, integration middleware (Mulesoft, Boomi, Apigee, etc.)

• Expertise on various integration approaches such as micro services, messaging, queuing, API patterns, etc.
• Strong knowledge across a variety of skills, including but not limited to, J2EE, .Net, Oracle, DB2, and MS/SQL.
• Experience with data architecture patterns operational data stores, data lakes, near-real-time streaming, data APIs
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container-based architectures (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong grasp of enterprise security, compliance, and high-availability architectures for regulated domains like healthcare.
• 10+ years' experience with architecting and developing integration solutions.
• 8+ years' experience with Pega implementations and 2+ years of recent experience with Appian implementations
• LSA certification is mandatory.
• Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), SSO, and OAuth2 implementations.

Preferred Skills:

• TOGAF, AWS/Azure architecture certification.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Professional certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure architecture certification

• Design and implement scalable architecture solutions using cloud-native technologies
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and presentations for stakeholders
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive architectural decisions and solutions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in integration architecture and emerging technologies
• Lead and participate in code reviews and technical discussions to improve software quality and efficiency
• Develop and maintain architecture roadmaps and strategic plans for future projects
• Coordinate with the QA team to ensure proper testing and validation of integrations
• Act as a liaison between the development team and project stakeholders to communicate technical aspects and risks
