Financial Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to support our General Ledger process. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing accounting, reporting, and analytical activities.

This role requires the ability to work with varying degrees of supervision and self-initiative, as well as strong analytical and decision-making skills. You will be responsible for processing and accumulating financial data, presenting it to stakeholders, and providing backup support for key functions within the department.

You will record and reconcile daily/weekly activity, support subledger and general ledger validation processes, process accounting entries, closing activities, and account reconciliations, and handle problems of medium complexity. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management and organization skills to meet deadlines.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 4-6 years of experience in roles with increasing responsibility and analytical decision making. They will be an advanced user of Microsoft Office Tools and experienced with Account Reconciliations.
