Oracle SOA Suite Specialist

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and support Oracle SOA Suite integrations and EBS ISG Web Services (SOAP/REST) to ensure seamless data exchange between systems.
  • Deliver synchronous, asynchronous and bulk (batch posting) integrations including JSON/XML-based solutions to meet business needs.
  • Perform independent testing of integrations using SOAP/REST and structured methodologies to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Develop and customize RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) using PL/SQL, APIs and Unix shell scripts to enhance system performance.
  • Work on Oracle HRMS modules (Core HR, Payroll, Self-Service HR, Performance Management, Talent Management, OLMS, Time & Labor, Absence Management, Fast Formulas, Loans, Advanced Benefits) to provide end-to-end solutions.
  • Build and maintain interfaces integrating EBS HRMS with third-party systems ensuring protocol compliance (SOAP, REST, FTP, SFTP) to facilitate data exchange.
  • Support data migration activities ensuring data consistency accuracy and integrity to meet business requirements.
  • Identify and map configurational data navigation screens and backend tables establishing relationships across scattered data entities to optimize system performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration/technical issues independently with minimal support to minimize downtime.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of technical experience in Oracle E-Business Suite with strong HRMS focus.
  • Proven expertise in Oracle SOA Suite and EBS ISG Web Services (SOAP/REST) to ensure seamless integration.
  • Strong hands-on skills in PL/SQL, APIs, RICE components and Advanced SQL/PLSQL to enhance system performance.
  • Extensive experience with integration protocols (SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, FTP, SFTP) to facilitate data exchange.
  • Familiarity with HRMS data structures and backend navigation to provide end-to-end solutions.
  • Expertise in unit integration and end-to-end testing for interfaces to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with functional teams in a freelance/remote setup.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of performance tuning for integrations to optimize system performance.
  • Exposure to Oracle Application Framework (OAF) to enhance system capabilities.
  • Experience with cloud integrations (Fusion HR/Payroll, SaaS systems) to provide scalable solutions.
