Senior Hardware Design Engineer Job

The role of a Senior Hardware Design Engineer is multifaceted and demands a unique blend of technical expertise, innovative thinking, and problem-solving skills. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex hardware systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate various components into mechanical assemblies.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in analog circuit design, precision analog front-end design, and data acquisition systems.
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers, digital signal processing, and communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, RS232, and Ethernet is essential.
  • Additionally, experience with power supply designs, including DC-DC converters (Buck/Boost/LDOs), and proficiency in circuit simulation tools and schematic/layout software like Altium or similar is highly desirable.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, the successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Biomedical/Instrumentation Engineering or an equivalent field.
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in hardware design, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with excellent analytical skills, a passion for innovation, and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Additional Competencies

The selected candidate should also demonstrate knowledge of medical standards IEC 60601-1 and awareness of EMI/EMC tests and design for compliance.
