As an Engineering Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. Your responsibilities will include installing, maintaining, and performing preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment.

You will be responsible for calibrating all controls, gauges, meters, etc., identifying, locating, and operating all shut-off valves. Additionally, you will order, mark, and stock parts and supplies as needed.

Maintaining inventory and purchase orders log is also a critical aspect of this role. You will inspect tools, equipment, or machines to ensure they are in good working condition.

Entering and locating work-related information using computers is another key responsibility. You may also operate power lifts and complete the life safety checklist, including the fire-pump run test and generator run test.

Inspecting fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems is essential to ensuring the safety of our facilities. You will also assist in developing disaster response protocols and respond to guest repair requests.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees. You will also follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.

This role requires excellent communication skills, as you will be interacting with guests and colleagues on a daily basis. You must welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards and anticipate and address their service needs.

Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others is crucial in this role. You will support the team to reach common goals and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.

To be successful in this role, you must ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. You will identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of related work experience and supervisory experience. A Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree is preferred.
