Job Opportunity: Video Annotation Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a video annotation specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for watching short videos of robots performing tasks and creating detailed, structured annotations that map robotic actions to human-readable descriptions.

Responsibilities:

  • Watch and analyze robotic task videos to understand the main objective, smaller steps, and outcome (success/partial/failure).
  • Provide timestamped, detailed annotations of robot movements.
  • Follow strict annotation guidelines for consistency and review/refine work based on feedback.
  • Judge task outcomes (success/partial/failure) and provide clear written English communication.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines.
  • Clear written English communication skills.
  • Comfortable with repetitive, accuracy-focused work.
  • Ability to judge task outcomes (success/partial/failure).
  • Experience in data annotation, transcription, or QA is a plus.

Engagement Details:

  • Contract Type: Contractor
  • Duration: 2 months (extendable)
  • Location: Remote
  • Evaluation: 30-min test task before selection

  • High-quality, consistent annotations.
  • Capturing both intent and execution quality of robot tasks.
