Quality Assurance Specialist

The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for planning, executing, and validating test cases to ensure the quality of our solutions.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, ensuring thoroughness and efficiency.
  • Develop data-level validations: schema checks, completeness, integrity, and freshness validation techniques.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to leverage GCP services (such as BigQuery) for advanced data validation.
  • Design and optimize SQL queries for large-scale testing.
  • Automate test cases using Cloud Composer or Apache Airflow, along with BigQuery and SQL.
  • Monitor GCP cloud logs and develop informative dashboards.
  • Effectively manage defect triage with various stakeholders, including timely updates on execution/validation progress.
  • Communicate closely with product development teams to foster collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Validate large datasets to guarantee data accuracy and consistency.
  • Implement efficient automation tools to streamline testing processes.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Provide expert advice on GCP services and data validation best practices.
