Learning Experience Specialist

Job Overview:

The Learning Experience Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining engaging online courses on Canvas Learning Management System (LMS). This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, building course content, and ensuring high-quality learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop course content, ensuring alignment with instructional design specifications.
  • Create and manage course assets, formatting documents, and organizing content pages according to accessibility standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Deliver projects on time, meeting the organization's quality benchmarks.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts by suggesting process improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience working on Canvas LMS and/or Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Basic knowledge of accessibility standards for course design.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite and authoring tools like Articulate 360 and H5P.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
