We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Storyteller to join our marketing team at ShopConnect. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for designing a wide range of graphic content that effectively communicates our brand message and resonates with our audience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative and visually appealing designs, motion graphics, and videos that align with our marketing goals and objectives.
- Drive digital video asset creation using Adobe Creative Suite to build a robust brand identity online.
- Conceptualize and produce engaging content for regular social media posts that captivate audiences and promote our brand-focused messages.
- Research and plan concepts by studying relevant information materials.
- Follow brand guidelines and develop unique design styles, creating rough drafts/storyboards based on agreed briefs.
- Tell compelling stories through short and impactful GIFs.
- Create effective logos, designs, print and digital media, including banners, social media creatives (Instagram/Facebook/LinkedIn/Twitter), infographics, carousel ads, and mock-ups.
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and error-free.
- Review designs for errors before publishing them.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in graphics content and design on social media.
- Contribute to team efforts by meeting deadlines and collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistency across various media outlets.
- Maintain awareness of current industry standards, social media, competitive landscapes, and market trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Creative and artistic mindset with a knack for storytelling.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator. Experience with other creative software and Hubspot Marketing/CMS is a plus.
- Knowledge of Corel Draw, 3D software, etc. will be a plus.
- Demonstrable graphics, motion design/graphic videos, and compositing ability with a strong portfolio preferably in B2B communication.
- Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills, and design skills.
- Support the team with static graphics design, illustration tasks, emailers, landing pages, and web design (posters, illustrations, newsletters, blogs, etc.).
Experience:
- Graphic Design: 4+ years
We estimate the salary for this role to be around $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
