Job Role:

  • We are seeking an accomplished Node.js Developer with a strong focus on JavaScript to develop high-performance APIs, implement robust security measures, and optimize data storage solutions using caching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop server-side logic and manage data interchange between the server and users, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of requests from the front-end.
  • Manage database maintenance and application optimization to guarantee high availability and scalability.
  • Integrate user-facing elements developed by co-workers into the application, resulting in a seamless user experience.
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code that meets business requirements and adheres to industry standards.
  • Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performance applications that meet Servify's standards.
  • Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard customer data and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Design and implement data storage solutions using RDBMS, NoSQL, and Caching Databases as per project requirements.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency with JavaScript, including its nuances and best practices.
  • Knowledge of Node.js core and frameworks such as Express, StrongLoop, koa, hapi, etc.
  • Understanding of asynchronous programming and its implications on application design.
  • Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processors and their role in improving application performance.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Understanding of accessibility and security compliance principles.
  • Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system, ensuring seamless performance and data integrity.
  • Fundamental design principles behind scalable applications, including load balancing and failover strategies.
  • Differences between multiple delivery platforms and optimizing output for specific platforms.
  • Creating database schemas that represent business processes and adhere to industry standards.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git and their role in collaboration and version control.
  • Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

Description:

  • The ideal candidate has experience designing scalable, high-availability applications and integrating multiple data sources for seamless performance.
  • A good understanding of front-end technologies is a plus, enabling effective integration of user-facing elements.
  • Hands-on expertise in MySQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc., is required for efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Experience working in Elastic search, RabbitMQ, Jenkins, APM is a bonus, indicating a strong background in DevOps and infrastructure management.
