About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Consultant to join our core Analytics team at Absolutdata. The ideal candidate will have experience working on various analytical projects, making significant contributions to business growth. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to transform business objectives into technological solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand marketing business problems in areas such as CPG, Retail, Hospitality, and Telecom, and address them to solve client problems.
  • Provide high-end consulting to clients at the business head level to help them sharpen their business strategy by implementing analytical models that support the realization of business objectives.
  • Demonstrate excellence in insightful thought leadership, strategic problem-solving, gauging business requirements and objectives, and transforming them into use cases as projects/business pitches.
  • Work on all facets of analytics – descriptive, prescriptive, and predictive analysis, and effectively communicate the results to various internal/external stakeholders.
  • Design and draft solution frameworks, RFP responses, or proposals to address central business issues of clients' businesses, in order to win new client services and grow existing partnerships.
  • Develop and implement different traditional modeling/ML techniques directed to a particular business problem.
  • Execute planned analysis to meet project objectives, and ensure on-time and error-free delivery, proactively escalating issues when required.

Requirements

  • Strong statistical knowledge, and hands-on experience working and implementing different traditional modeling/ML techniques, and drawing insights through statistical techniques and predictive modeling.
  • Proficiency in working with tools like Python, R, SAS, Spark, Hive, and SQL.
  • Good communication skills: effective oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Degree: Postgraduates from premiere institutes in Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative disciplines/MBA.
  • Relevant experience: 4-7+ years of relevant experience in MMM/Marketing Analytics & Consulting.
