**Job Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced Fire Officer to join our team at IBIS. As a key member of our hotel's safety management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular fire hazard checks and remove any hazards found in the premises.
- Test and maintain fire safety systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fire emergency plan for the hotel, including organizing regular fire drills.
- Educate employees on fire safety procedures and provide training in basic firefighting and rescue techniques.
- Liaise with local authorities and coordinate fire safety requirements.
- Supervise firefighting and evacuation efforts in the event of an emergency.
Qualifications:
- Secondary or high school education.
- Certificates in Fire Safety Management (Commercial Building), National Skills Recognition System, CPR, and First Aid Management.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language.
