Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by developing and maintaining automated test scripts, collaborating with developers and QA engineers, and utilizing various testing tools and frameworks.

  • The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software development life cycles, programming languages, and testing methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using programming languages like Python.
  2. Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to understand product requirements and design test strategies.
  3. Utilize Selenium or Playwright automation frameworks for web-based application testing.
  4. Perform API testing using REST Assured tools to ensure backend services functionality and stability.
  5. Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaborate with the team.
  6. Utilize JIRA for test case management, defect tracking, and project management.
  7. Work with Docker containers to set up and manage test environments.
  8. Conduct testing on Windows and Linux operating systems for cross-platform compatibility.
  9. Apply TDD and BDD principles to create robust test scripts.

Qualifications:

  1. 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  3. Strong programming skills with hands-on experience in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
  4. Solid understanding and experience with Playwright automation frameworks.
  5. Proficiency in using REST Assured tools for API testing.
  6. Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control.
  7. Experience with JIRA for test case management.
  8. Knowledge of Docker and ability to work with containers.
  9. Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
  10. Strong understanding of TDD and BDD methodologies.
