Job Description

The primary function of this role is to design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure data pipelines are accurate and efficient. This involves analyzing data discrepancies, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions to improve data quality.

This position requires a strong understanding of database management systems, including data validation, reconciliation, and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with HiveQL and Python as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement automated SQL scripts to streamline data validation and reconciliation processes.
  • Design comprehensive test strategies to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Test and verify ETL pipelines from various data sources into data warehouses.
  • Implement automated ETL testing frameworks to optimize the data validation process.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience with HiveQL for Hive Database.
  • Experience with Python as a scripting language.
