Job Title: Costing Specialist - Automation SystemsJob Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Costing Specialist to manage and oversee all activities related to panel costing in the automation sector.

  • Panel Costing Management: Ensure accurate and timely final costing for all panel-related projects.
  • Automation Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of automation systems, including PLCs, Drives, CNC systems, DCS, PCS, electrical panels, and instrumentation panels.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers in delivering high-quality costing solutions and support project stakeholders as needed.
  • Technical Communication: Conduct technical discussions with clients, internal teams, and vendors to finalize requirements, configurations, and costs.
  • Progress Reporting: Provide regular status reports to management regarding project progress, costing, and potential issues.
  • Staying Updated: Stay current on the latest trends and technologies in automation, electrical panels, and switchgear.
  • Communication Skills: Develop excellent communication skills for interacting with both internal teams and external customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of automation products and systems.
  • Proficiency in panel costing and project costing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with PLC, Drives, DCS, PCS, and instrumentation panels.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team of engineers.
  • Excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle complex technical discussions and negotiations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Candidate should be proactive, result-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • BE Electrical/ Electronics/Instrumentation degree.
  • 6-7 years of experience in panel and automation product costing.
