Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled backend engineer to join our team. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for building the backend foundations of our wallet, focusing on delivering high-performance, scalable, and secure systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build Low-Latency APIs: Design and implement low-latency APIs for instant sends, swaps, and approvals.
  • Partner Integrations: Own backend partner integrations with companies like Turnkey and OneBalance.
  • Ledger and State Machine: Design and maintain a resilient ledger and state machine for money movement.
  • Policy Engine: Implement a policy engine for approvals, caps, timelocks, and joint accounts.
  • System Performance: Ensure performance, reliability, and observability across production systems.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in building backend systems at scale.
  • Strong skills in TypeScript/Node, Go, Rust, or Kotlin.
  • Experience with async I/O, queues, retries, state machines.
  • Database expertise (Postgres, Redis) and modeling for consistency.
  • Track record of owning systems end-to-end (from design to production).

Bonus Requirements:

  • Experience with crypto custody/MPC, Bitcoin UTXOs, or fintech/payment systems.
