Senior Data Network Test Specialist

To succeed in this challenging role, you will be expected to leverage your knowledge of data networking concepts and apply it to develop comprehensive test plans.
About the Position- Collaborate closely with design engineers, marketing teams, and other test specialists to translate feature requirements into actionable test cases.
- Develop a deep understanding of product verification methodologies and strategies to effectively execute testing assignments.
- Proficiency in performance and throughput testing, as well as experience working with test tools like Ixia, Smartbits, STC, and packet sniffers.
- Expertise in scripting languages such as Perl, Tcl, and Tk, and familiarity with bug tracking tools like Rational ClearQuest or similar applications.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in QA engineering.
- Strong proficiency in L2 protocols (STP, MSTP, RSTP, Ethernet, OAM, CFM) and Layer-3 protocols (IPv4, IPv6, OSPFv2, OSPFv3, IS-IS, BGP4, IGMP, PIM-SM, SSM).
- Experience working with technologies such as VxLAN, L2VPN, pseudowire, VPLS, and L3VPN.
- Familiarity with test case management tools like Quality Center.
