Job Description for Junior Interior Designer

We are seeking a talented and motivated professional to fill the role of Junior Interior Designer. In this full-time on-site position, you will be responsible for assisting with space planning, creating and revising drawings, selecting and coordinating FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment), and supporting the overall interior design process.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in space planning and interior design projects
  • Create and revise drawings using design software
  • Select and coordinate FF&E
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams
  • Perform site visits and provide design solutions
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design
  • Skills in selecting and coordinating FF&E
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
  • Experience with design software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp is highly valued
Fundamental Requirements:
  1. A strong understanding of spatial awareness and aesthetics
  2. An ability to interpret design briefs and develop creative solutions
  3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  4. A commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards
