Supermarket Housekeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Supermarket Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent cleaning and sanitation skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Sanitizing: Our Supermarket Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of all areas within the supermarket, including floors, walls, windows, and surfaces. This will involve sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing high-touch areas.
• Room Preparation: The successful candidate will be required to prepare guest rooms, hotel rooms, or residential spaces by making beds, arranging furniture, and restocking amenities.
• Laundry and Linen Management: Our Supermarket Housekeeper will be responsible for washing, drying, folding, and replacing linens and towels in rooms or common areas.
• Bathroom Maintenance: The candidate will need to clean and disinfect bathrooms, restocking toiletries and supplies as needed.
• Trash and Waste Management: Our Supermarket Housekeeper will collect and dispose of waste and trash from rooms and public areas, following proper waste management protocols.
• Surface Care: The successful candidate will polish and maintain surfaces such as floors, windows, mirrors, and furniture to keep them clean and presentable.
• Room Inspections: Our Supermarket Housekeeper will conduct regular inspections to ensure that rooms and areas meet cleanliness and quality standards.
• Inventory Management: The candidate will need to keep track of cleaning supplies and consumables, and report shortages to supervisors.
• Special Cleaning Tasks: Our Supermarket Housekeeper will handle deep cleaning tasks periodically or as required, such as carpet cleaning, window washing, and upholstery cleaning.
• Health and Safety Compliance: The successful candidate will follow health and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working environment.
