English Teacher Job Post

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic English teacher to join our school. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality lessons to motivate students, creating and utilizing appropriate materials and the classroom environment to cater to different learning styles.
  • Establish and maintain records of curriculum and year plans, attendance, teaching resources, assessment plans, etc., and share them from time to time or on request.
  • Implement destinations & milestones & related strategies, Lesson Plans, Worksheets, class & home assignments.
  • Prepare for instruments of assessment and implement weekly, unit, term, and Annual plans for assessment and evaluation according to defined criteria.
  • Give appropriate, meaningful, and accurate feedback to students, both qualitative and quantitative, as per School Policy.
  • Ensure all policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times.
  • Participate in Appraisal and Professional development (PD).
  • Participate and attend and lead where appropriate, co-curricular events, staff meetings, and extra-curricular programmes in the school, promoting good working relationships through active leadership and the sharing of ideas, materials, and experiences.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant subject obtained through regular mode along with B.Ed. qualification.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of curriculum areas, research, and educational trends in Education.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
