About the Role

Deutsche Bank is seeking a Senior Data Governance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the data governance team, you will be responsible for designing, improving, and implementing the bank's data management framework across the organization.

The role involves delivering value in key areas such as data governance, data quality, and controls, as well as data lineage and compliance metrics and KPIs. You will leverage innovative thinking, data governance technologies, and automation of workflows to achieve this goal.

Your key responsibilities will include designing standards, improving processes, and monitoring approaches to strengthen DB's data governance frameworks and facilitate their implementation across the bank. You will also develop operating models and standards for implementing the bank's data governance framework, data lineage, data quality, and data sourcing.

Additionally, you will design and implement methodologies for data governance gap closure identified during regulatory and internal audits, as well as design and implement methodologies to capture additional metadata associated with authoritative sources to identify strategic vs. non-strategic sources utilized for sourcing data.

To be successful in this role, you will require 12+ years of proven experience working with an organization's data governance teams, developing data governance policies, procedures, and standards. You should also have experience working in developing standards and operating models for critical data identification and end-to-end data lineage depiction.

Experience with data governance tools (like Collibra) and data lineage tools (like Solidatus) is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential for this role.
