Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Policy Configuration Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time on-site role responsible for the configuration, development, and maintenance of the Guidewire Policy Center application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop technical solutions based on business requirements analysis.
  • Conduct unit tests and collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
  • Communicate closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Guidewire Policy Center configuration and development.
  • Strong understanding of PL/SQL and data modeling principles.
  • Knowledge of Java, GOSU scripting, and XML technologies.
  • Experience in carrying out unit tests and debugging software applications.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with insurance domain practices and principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Prior experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and SQL.
  • Experience with software testing and debugging.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and processes.
