Senior Data Migration Specialist

A seasoned Data Migration Professional is required to lead complex data migrations, design and manage ETL/ELT processes, and build a deep understanding of recruitment CRM systems.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data migrations, pipeline development, and data transformation. They will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing complex data migrations, developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes using dbt, AWS, and Redshift, and building a deep understanding of recruitment CRM systems.
Responsibilities include owning the end-to-end process, including the injection of new data into production environments, supporting customer success to delight clients during migration, and establishing clear, efficient processes for data handling and writing documentation for end-to-end pipeline management.
- Data Migrations: Design, manage, and optimize complex data migrations.
- Pipeline Development: Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using dbt, AWS, and Redshift to efficiently manage and transform large datasets.
- Data Transformation & Modelling: Build a deep understanding of recruitment CRM systems (people, projects, companies) so the thought process becomes second nature.
- Own the end-to-end process, including the injection of new data into production environments and supporting customer success to delight clients during migration.
- Documentation: Establish clear, efficient processes for data handling and write documentation for end-to-end pipeline management.
- Customer migration experience: You must have conducted a number of customer migrations (+20). This means specifically transforming data in order to onboard a client into your solution.
- Internal migration experience: We will also consider those who have experience transforming and migrating data as part of a data engineering role.
- Competitive Compensation: We will pay competitively based on location and experience.
- Bonus per Migration: We pay commissions to our migration team upon completion of a migration.
