Software Quality Assurance Professional

Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Professional

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning and Execution
    • Develop and execute test plans to ensure high-quality software releases.
    • Perform manual testing, including functional, UI, smoke, sanity, and exploratory tests.
  • Automation Development & Maintenance
    • Design and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and TestNG.
    • Integrate scripts into CI pipelines for continuous testing coverage.
  • Defect Management
    • Log, track, and retest bugs using Zoho BugTracker or similar tools.
    • Ensure clear status updates, steps to reproduce, and proper defect lifecycle management.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Sync daily with developers, project managers, and QA peers during stand-ups.
    • Actively report blockers, coverage updates, and test progress.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Testing Tools & Frameworks:
    • Selenium with Python (automation testing)
    • TestNG (test configuration)
    • JMeter or LoadRunner (performance/load testing)
    • Postman, Swagger, or equivalent (API testing)
    • Zoho BugTracker or Jira (bug management & tracking)
  • Additional Tools & Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
    • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration into automated testing
    • Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments
