Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated User Experience (UX) Engineer to support the design and development of user interfaces and experiences for our software applications.

This role will play a key part in crafting intuitive, user-centered designs that drive engagement and enhance the user experience for a large-scale network.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in user interface design and experience with front-end development using JavaScript, React, or Angular.

Strong experience in designing, developing, and optimizing user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks is also required.

Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Invision for prototyping and high-fidelity mockups is essential.

The successful candidate will be proficient in building responsive, user-friendly web and mobile experiences and have strong knowledge of design principles, usability, interaction design, and visual hierarchy.

A bachelor's degree in a related field and 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in UX/UI design and development is preferred.

Key responsibilities include leading a team of designers and engineers to create, build, and maintain high-quality user interfaces and experiences across platforms.

The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to define and deliver effective design solutions.

Other responsibilities include architecting, designing, and optimizing user interfaces using design principles, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, ensuring seamless and intuitive user experiences by designing interactions, workflows, and visual elements for web and mobile platforms, and leveraging modern design tools to produce deliverables.

The ideal candidate will also be responsible for conducting user research and usability testing to gather feedback and continuously improve the user interface and experience.

Responsibilities also include troubleshooting and resolving complex user experience challenges and design issues and driving the integration of design systems and reusable components into development processes.

Experience integrating design systems and reusable UI components into development processes is an added advantage.

Additional qualifications include excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a user-centered approach to designing complex workflows and the ability to work in an agile development environment.

Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices for designing inclusive user experiences is also highly desirable.

Bachelor's Degree
