Job Title: Taxation Officer

We are seeking a Taxation professional to independently handle tax matters for group companies. Responsibilities include regular tax assessments, tax litigation support, and timely filing of income tax returns.

This role requires a Chartered Accountant with strong analytical skills, high levels of ownership, and the ability to manage tax compliance, plan for tax savings, and build working relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independent handling of tax assessments for group companies, including coordination and compilation of necessary details.
  • Assistance in CIT(A), DRP, and ITAT matters for the group companies.
  • Filing and reporting of income tax returns for all companies in the group and completion of tax audit and international transfer pricing for group entities.
  • Preparation of advance tax calculations, current tax provisions, and deferred tax computations.
  • Advice on TDS implications, dealings with TDS officers, and planning for tax savings in relation to new laws and rules.
  • Timely obtainment of pending refunds and analysis of recent judgments to assess their applicability to group entities.

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • High levels of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work effectively.
Qualifications:
