Test Automation Expert

We're seeking a skilled test automation expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering automated tests in core technologies, creating test documentation, defining test scope for the tested area and identifying the risk, defining and improving the QA processes, providing support to other team members, leading and inputting into technical discussions.

As a test automation expert, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and tools, such as Cypress.io and/or Playwright. You will also have the chance to develop your skills in JavaScript programming language and contribute to the development of our software products.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of commercial experience with manual and automation testing
  • 3+ years of experience in test automation
  • Experience working with Cypress.io and/or Playwright
  • Good knowledge of at least one JavaScript programming language
  • Excellent understanding of testing techniques, strong experience with manual testing, and some experience in non-functional testing
  • Knowledge of good practices in testing and the ability to apply them in a practical way
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical people with the ability to explain complicated technical concepts to non-technical people
  • Experience in API testing using Postman
  • Ability to mentor and guide more junior testers
  • Hands-on experience with databases/advanced Excel is a plus
  • Experience working with large datasets or large customer base is a plus
  • Root cause analysis
  • Test reporting
  • Knowledge of CI/CD setup, SQL databases, monitoring services (e.g., Rollbar, New Relic), test design, programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, test planning, and QA strategy
  • Knowledge of Python, Java is an added advantage
