Job Title: Software Developer

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with expertise in Unity-based Human-Machine Interface (HMI) development for automotive Cluster and Head-Up Display (HUD), optimized for embedded platforms like QNX.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in C/C++, C#, and Python, as well as proficiency in Unity engine for HMI development.
  • They should be familiar with User Experience Design/User Experience Engineering (UXD/UXE) collaboration workflows, including design tokens, auto-layout, and responsive variants.
  • Experience in Cluster and Head-Up Display (HUD) application development using Unity on QNX-based embedded platforms is also desired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop modular UI frameworks for HMI solutions.
  • Integrate real-time vehicle data using protocols like Controller Area Network (CAN), Local Interconnect Network (LIN), and Ethernet.
  • Optimize performance tuning (boot time, memory, Frames Per Second (FPS)), rendering optimization, and shader-based visual effects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality HMI solutions.

Requirements:

  • 3-12 years of experience in software development with a focus on HMI and embedded systems.
  • Strong knowledge of C/C++, C#, and Python programming languages.
  • Proficiency in Unity engine for HMI development.
  • Experience with graphics APIs such as OpenGL ES, Vulkan, and shader programming.
  • Familiarity with automotive HMI architecture, software design principles (e.g., Model-View-Controller (MVC), Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM)), and real-time constraints.
