Business Content Editor

The ideal candidate will be working directly with the Editor to edit and refine business articles and reports.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, and proofread business articles, reports for accuracy, clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style adherence.

  • Ensure content follows the publication's style sheet, brand guidelines, and tonality.

  • Collaborate with editors and other team members to deliver high-quality content.

  • Rewrite or restructure sentences, paragraphs, or entire sections of the content as needed.

  • Verify facts, dates, statistics, and other information in the content.

  • Conduct research when necessary to fact-check and validate the information in the content.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/PG/Master's degree in journalism, communications, English, or a related field.

  • Excellent editorial judgment, attention to detail, strong editorial skills, and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

  • Knowledge and ability to write/edit business copies, knowledge of business terminology, and strong editing, proofreading, and fact-checking abilities.

  • Excellent command of the English language.
