Job Description

As a seasoned Agile leader, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

You will work closely with Product Owners and team members to deliver prioritized backlog items with quality and predictability. Your servant leadership skills will be essential in removing impediments and promoting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include tracking and handling sprint metrics, burn-down charts, and team velocity for improved clarity. You will also promote agile values and team collaboration to develop a culture of innovation and delivery perfection.

In addition, you will partner with Release Train Engineers and other Scrum Masters to coordinate cross-team dependencies and PI planning activities. Ensuring adherence to Amgen's agile delivery and compliance frameworks is crucial.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A doctorate degree, masters degree, or bachelors degree with 8 to 13 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience as a Scrum Master supporting product teams in a technology environment.
  • Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and tools (Jira, Jira Align, Confluence).
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and servant leadership skills.
