Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer - Concept Development Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team as a Concept Development Specialist. As a key member of our design team, you will play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge mechanical concepts and designs for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed 3D models using CAD software to transform ideas into reality.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, including stress analysis, material selection, and cost estimation to ensure designs are viable and meet project goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are practical and efficiently produced.
  • Generate detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Perform design reviews, assess potential design risks, and implement necessary improvements.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure designs are competitive.
  • Provide technical support during prototype development and participate in testing and validation of new designs.
  • Prepare and present design proposals and reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-12 years of experience in mechanical design with emphasis on concept design.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Solid Edge.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in performing FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and other simulation techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to think creatively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all design work.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in textile machinery industry is desirable.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
