Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist



Zeca Tech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the organization's cyber defense strategies and operations.



Key Responsibilities:

Assist in monitoring network security and recommend enhancements



Participate in incident response activities and conduct post-incident analysis



Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and implementing remediation measures



Contribute to the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and protocols



Support the security operations center (SOC) in day-to-day activities



Conduct research on emerging cyber threats and report findings



Assist in implementing and managing security tools and technologies



Provide support in developing and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity plans



Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new security solutions



Participate in security audits and compliance assessments



Assist in security incident documentation and reporting



Contribute to the development and maintenance of security documentation, including policies, standards, and procedures



Support the investigation of security incidents and breaches



Required Qualifications:




  • Final year pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or related field
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts and protocols
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals and best practices
  • Familiarity with security tools such as IDS/IPS, SIEM, and firewalls
  • Understanding of incident response procedures and methodologies
  • Basic understanding of risk management and assessment processes
  • Familiarity with vulnerability assessment and management concepts
  • Basic knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
