Job Opportunity : Lead Frontend Architect

Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Lead to spearhead our frontend engineering efforts. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ReactJS, experience in handling complex imaging applications, and the ability to lead technical initiatives while mentoring engineers.

The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in shaping our product architecture, ensuring code quality, and driving technical excellence across the team.

Key Responsibilities :
  1. Technical Leadership : Provide architectural guidance, establish coding best practices, conduct code reviews, and mentor engineers through technical discussions and hands-on support.
  2. Project Ownership : Partner with product managers and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps, prioritize engineering tasks, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
  3. Frontend Development : Lead the design and development of advanced frontend applications using ReactJS (hooks, state management, and component design).
  4. Imaging Applications : Work with WebGL, Canvas, and advanced rendering libraries to support large imaging files (DICOM, TIFF, etc.) and optimize browser performance.
  5. Backend Integration : Collaborate with backend teams and integrate GraphQL/RESTful APIs.
  6. Cloud & Infrastructure : Utilize AWS services (S3, CloudFront, authentication flows, etc.) to build scalable and secure solutions.
  7. Collaboration & Communication : Act as a bridge between engineering, product, and business teams with clear and effective communication.
Requirements :
  • Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience : 5 - 7 years of professional software development experience (full-stack or frontend).
  • Skills : Strong expertise in ReactJS and modern frontend frameworks, hands-on integration experience with GraphQL/REST APIs, working knowledge of Node.js for API consumption, strong understanding of AWS services (S3, CloudFront, authentication, etc.), proven track record of technical leadership and mentoring within an engineering team.
