Panel Costing Expert Sought

Our organization is in search of a skilled and experienced panel costing professional to oversee the management of all activities related to panel costing within the Automation sector. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of Siemens products and automation systems, including PLCs, Drives, AC & DC Drives, CNC systems, DCS, PCS, Electrical Panels, and Instrumentation Panels.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee all activities related to panel costing, ensuring accurate and timely final costing.
  2. Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of Siemens automation products, electrical panels, and instrumentation panels.
  3. Take ownership of panel costing tasks and deliverables while leading a team of engineers.
  4. Conduct technical discussions with clients, internal teams, and vendors to finalize requirements, configurations, and costs.
  5. Provide regular progress updates to management regarding panel costing, progress, and potential issues.
  6. Remain up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in automation, electrical panels, and switchgear.
  7. Ensure effective communication and collaboration with both internal teams and external customers.
  8. Deliver precise and competitive panel costing across various sectors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Siemens automation products and systems.
  • Proficiency in panel costing and project costing.
  • Experience working with PLC, Drives, DCS, PCS, and instrumentation panels.
  • Able to work independently and lead a team effectively.
  • Excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle complex technical discussions and negotiations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Candidate should be proactive, result-oriented, and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Prior experience in panel and automation product costing is highly beneficial.

Preferred Qualification: BE Electrical/ Electronics/Instrumentation Experience - 6 to 7 years Technical Knowledge as per Industry Standard
