We are seeking a skilled Java/AWS Developer to join our team at Crox Consulting Inc. As a cloud software engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure applications in a cloud-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Application Development: Design and develop high-quality Java-based applications and services that meet the needs of our clients.
  • AWS Integration: Leverage AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and others to deploy, manage, and scale applications efficiently.
  • Microservices Architecture: Develop and deploy microservices architectures using Java and AWS technologies to improve scalability and reliability.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using AWS tools like Code Pipeline, Code Build, and Code Deploy to streamline development processes.
  • API Development: Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end applications and third-party services to provide seamless user experiences.
  • Database Management: Work with AWS databases (e.g., Dynamo DB, RDS) and manage data storage and retrieval processes to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize application performance to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency in a cloud environment.
  • Security: Implement security best practices in AWS, including IAM roles, encryption, and VPC configurations to protect client data and systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, Dev Ops engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet client needs.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, processes, and AWS configurations to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Java development, hands-on experience with AWS services, and experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Java and related frameworks, strong understanding of AWS services, familiarity with version control systems and build tools, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
