Investor Reporting Analyst

This position plays a key role in executing reporting to investors, shareholders, and stakeholders invested in single-family rental properties.

The Analyst will generate operational reports for Single-Family Rental (SFR) portfolios, delivered externally to each Joint Venture institutional investor.

Operational reporting metrics include property counts, status, rental lease amounts, property lifecycle, and tenant retention.

Job responsibilities:

  • Assist Senior Portfolio Managers in maintaining and improving complex portfolio investment models.
  • Build and maintain portfolio/financial models, including cash flow projections, fund-level waterfalls, IRR calculations, DCF, and NPV valuations.
  • Work with Managers to evaluate and clarify investor requests, offer alternative solutions, and perform deep dives into operational metrics when applicable.
  • Provide guidance to team members and lead on complex deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities to centralize, eliminate, or automate activities.
  • Prepare and review fund operational reports, modifications for Single-Family Residential Joint Ventures with strategic investors.
  • Monitor performance of operational reports and take corrective action to optimize or improve reporting process.
  • Identify data discrepancies within operational reports and communicate corrective solutions.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Education: MBA, CA, or CFA with financial markets understanding preferred.
  • Experience: 4-7 years in Financial Services and/or Real Estate firm preferred.
  • Highly analytical mindset.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office Excel and PowerPoint; prior experience in Tableau and SQL preferred.
  • Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
