Senior Software Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing high-performance, high-throughput web services and applications.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
The role requires strong Java programming skills, including NIO and concurrency, as well as experience with Netty or similar application frameworks. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong understanding of web protocols (HTTP, WebSockets), network protocols (TCP, UDP, DHCP/DNS, IPSec VPN, RDP), and PKI, Certificates & web technologies like HTML5, JSON, Rest APIs, Javascript.
The ideal candidate will also have experience reading and implementing RFCs, as well as a strong understanding of network security (TLS, SAML, PKI). Furthermore, the candidate should have experience with developing web or application servers, proxies, or platforms, as well as full stack development experience (Javascript, SQL, NoSQL).
The selected candidate will work closely with the product management team to develop new access control features, influence the features and direction of the product and platform, and involve in the complete software development life cycle. They will also take an active role in mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the growth and development of the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience with an engineering degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong Java Programming skills (NIO, concurrency)
- Experience developing high performance, high throughput web services and applications
- Extensive experience with Netty or similar application frameworks
- Experience with the Spring Framework
- Strong understanding of web protocols (HTTP, WebSockets)
- Must have knowledge PKI, Certificates & web technologies like HTML5, JSON, Rest APIs, Javascript
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP, UDP, DHCP/DNS, IPSec VPN, RDP)
- Experience reading and implementing RFCs
- Strong understanding of network security (TLS, SAML, PKI)
- Experience implementing network protocols
- Experience with developing web or application servers, proxies, or platforms
- Full stack development experience (Javascript, SQL, NoSQL)
- Experience with parsing code, structured data, and document formats
- Experience with microservices and cloud platforms (Docker, AWS, GCP)
- Experience with Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins
