Red Teaming Specialist

We are seeking a creative and skilled Red Team Member to join our AI Large Language Models (LLMs) team.

This role involves a range of responsibilities, including:

  • Completing extensive training on AI/ML, LLMs, Red Teaming, and jailbreaking, as well as specific project guidelines and requirements
  • Crafting clever and sneaky prompts to attempt to bypass the filters and guardrails on LLMs, targeting specific vulnerabilities defined by our clients
  • Collaborating closely with language specialists, team leads, and QA leads to produce high-quality work
  • Assisting data scientists to conduct automated model attacks
  • Adapting to dynamic project needs and navigating shifting guidelines and requirements
  • Keeping up with evolving LLM capabilities and helping your team's methods evolve with them
  • Meeting productivity targets, including for the number of prompts written and average handling time per prompt

To succeed in this role, you will need to bring:

  • A strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and semantics – knowing what "proper" English rules are, as well as when to violate them to better test AI responses
  • The ability to adopt different voices and points of view
  • Excellent writing skills (in English)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Well-honed internet research skills
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity with ease
  • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment, with the agility to adjust to evolving guidelines and requirements

Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives, developing effective strategies, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Requirements: To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess a strong background in AI/ML, excellent writing skills, and the ability to think creatively. A passion for learning and adapting to new technologies is also highly desirable.
