Job Title: Lead Engineering Expert

Role Overview:

As a key engineering leader, you will oversee project work focused on production and collaboration with our international teams. You will mentor and coach junior team members to ensure their growth and success.

Responsibilities:Core Functions:
  • Prepare feasibility study reports in line with brief requirements, reviewing them with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with international teams to assemble design specifications compliant with employer requirements, agreeing on format and content, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Work closely with senior team members to agree and monitor scope of works.
  • Clearly define building requirements and purpose of use with relevant stakeholders to facilitate detailed design.
  • Perform detailed design as per client requirements, adhering to standard codes, quality assurance, and technical review, and obtaining sign-off from senior team members.
  • Review and monitor calculation production, including quality assurance and technical reviews, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure project costing information is complete and up-to-date, keeping the project team informed about design progress.
  • Coordinate project contracts documents and reviews input from team members.
  • Lead the design process, promoting cost-effective solutions, and encouraging the team to deliver within agreed timelines.
  • Implement document control and quality assurance processes for project work, ensuring drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence are issued and filed properly, and coaching junior staff in these processes.
  • Manage a team of engineers and technicians.
