Job Overview:

Main Responsibilities include providing technical assistance during the commissioning phase of Energy Storage Projects.

  • Technical Support: The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the project's technical aspects.
  • Client Liaison: This role requires acting as the primary point of contact between Trina Storage and clients on-site, ensuring smooth communication and coordination with subcontractors when necessary.
  • Collaboration: Successful applicants will work closely with various professionals to implement a detailed commissioning schedule, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
  • Reporting: Generate daily and weekly reports to monitor deviations from the planned schedule and identify areas for improvement.
  • Meetings: Engage in follow-up meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure that all parties are aware of project progress and any challenges that may arise.
  • Installation Oversight: Ensure compliance with standards set by Trina Storage for Energy Storage structures, guaranteeing that all installations meet the required specifications.
  • Maintenance Activities: Participate in preventive and reactive maintenance activities for Energy Storage infrastructure, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and functioning optimally.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Experience: We require 2-3 years of experience as an Energy Storage Service Engineer with hands-on site experience.
  2. Commissioning: Handle commissioning, pre and post-commissioning tests, and performance test verification.
  3. Spare Parts Management: Manage spare parts inventory, maintaining records, documenting transactions, and updating inventory.
  4. Tool Safety: Ensure safekeeping of tools and equipment.
  5. Task Assignment: Oversee and assign tasks to third-party service partner technicians.
  6. Customer Support: Provide customer support through phone, email, and other channels.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Electrical or Electronics Background: Electrical or Electronics Engineer (or equivalent).
  • Technical Experience: Minimum of 2 years of technical experience in electrical projects (substations, power lines, or LV/MV cables).
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Independence: Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Energy Storage Knowledge: Strong understanding of BESS PCS and related supporting and subcomponents.
  • Maintenance Experience: Solid experience in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
