Job Description: SAP S/4HANA Development Expert

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP on HANA, CDS views, OData services, and Fiori/UI5 development.

  • SAP S/4HANA Development: We are looking for someone who can design, develop, and enhance applications using ABAP on HANA, CDS views, AMDP, and OData services.
  • Customizations & Enhancements: The successful candidate will work on user exits, BADI implementations, enhancements, and custom reports/forms (Smart Forms, Adobe Forms).
  • Integration: Develop and maintain interfaces using OData, REST APIs, RFCs, IDocs, and BAPIs.
  • SAP Fiori/UI5 Development: Customize and develop SAP Fiori apps using SAP UI5 and SAP Gateway services.
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure optimal performance of SAP programs by analysing and optimizing SQL queries, using parallel processing, and leveraging HANA best practices.
  • Data Migration: Lead data migration efforts using LSMW, BODS, and ABAP programs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.) and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
  • Testing & Debugging: Conduct unit testing, performance testing, and debugging for solution validation.
  • Code Review & Best Practices: Ensure development adheres to SAP coding standards and best practices.
  • Upgrades & Migrations: Support SAP S/4HANA migrations and system upgrades, ensuring compatibility and performance improvements.
  • Technical Documentation: Maintain proper documentation of technical specifications, development activities, and troubleshooting steps.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of SAP development experience, with at least 2+ years in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Strong proficiency in ABAP on HANA, CDS views, AMDP, OData, and BOPF.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP Gateway, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • Knowledge of HANA SQL scripting and database procedures.
  • Strong experience in SAP workflows, enhancements (BADI, user exits, enhancement spots), and BAPIs.
  • Experience in SAP data migration tools (LSMW, BODS, or Migration Cockpit).
  • Understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and best practices.
  • Handson experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex SAP issues.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools for SAP (e.g., SAP CI/CD pipelines).
  • Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform and integration technologies (SAP CPI, PI/PO) is a plus.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
