The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS and Greengrass Edge solutions, as well as knowledge of industrial IoT protocols such as MQTT, OPC-UA, and Modbus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable OT data architectures using AWS and Greengrass (Edge).
  • Integrate IoT, Edge computing, and Cloud platforms for seamless data collection and processing.
  • Define data ingestion, storage, and processing strategies for real-time and batch data pipelines.
  • Develop security and governance frameworks for handling sensitive OT data.
  • Work closely with OT engineers, data scientists, and cloud architects to ensure efficient data flow and utilization.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Cloud: AWS (IoT Core, Lambda, S3, Kinesis, DynamoDB)
  • Edge Computing: Greenleaf (Edge), AWS Greengrass
  • IoT Protocols: MQTT, OPC-UA, Modbus, and industrial IoT communication standards
  • Database & Storage: Time-series databases (Influx DB, OSIsoft PI), AWS Redshift, S3
  • Security & Compliance: IAM, Encryption, NIST, IEC 62443 (OT Security)
