Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food and Beverage Service Associate to join our team at AccorHotel. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide proficient and professional Food and Beverage service to guests, meeting and exceeding their expectations.
  • Welcome guests with a warm and friendly greeting, setting the tone for a memorable experience.
  • Ensure any issues or concerns are brought to the attention of management in a timely and efficient manner.

People Management:

  • Respond to customer queries and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Attend to guest complaints, requests, or inquiries regarding food and services, providing a prompt and professional response.
  • Establish and maintain seamless coordination and cooperation with all departments to ensure maximum productivity, morale, and guest service.

Operational Management:

  • Responsible for setting up operating equipment and ensuring linen and condiments are inspected before service.
  • Ensure familiarity with all dishes on the menu, providing guests with expert recommendations.
  • Clearance of all soiled chinaware, glassware, and silverware from the guest table and reset the table for the next arrival.
  • In the absence of the Food and Beverage Supervisor, take guest orders and advise guests on specials and menu options.
  • Ensure familiarity with property layout, fire exits, and elevator locations.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, emergency situations, or suspicious persons to the Food and Beverage Supervisor.
  • Minimize breakage, pilferage, and spoilage to ensure a seamless service experience.

Qualifications:

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Secondary or High school education or Hotel Management Degree.
  • Additional certification(s) in Food and Beverage will be an advantage.
  • Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language.
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage.
  • No experience is required.

  • Service-oriented with an eye for details.
  • Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team.
  • Self-motivated and energetic.
  • Must be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times.
