  • With 17+ years of experience, you will manage a large coding unit and oversee daily operations.
  • Certification from AAPC or AHIMA is required, along with strong leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of medical coding principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee workload and staffing, hiring, disciplining, performance appraisals, training, and quality monitoring.
  • Develop long-range and short-term goals, objectives, plans, and programs for implementation.
  • Evaluate innovations and changes in programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Design systems and methods to improve data accessibility, resolve problems, and prepare administrative reports.
  • Ensure coding compliance, develop educational programs, and communicate regulatory updates.
  • Conduct audits, monitor accuracy, and report non-compliance issues.
  • Review claim denials, analyze trends, and implement corrective action plans.

Requirements:

  • Any graduate (preferably life science background)
  • 17+ years of multispecialty coding experience and substantial team management experience
  • Excellent communication skills and managerial, leadership, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint reporting tools
