Job Overview

As a member of our team, you'll lead a group of highly competent power electronics and controls engineers on project execution. You'll help them make architectural and design decisions for DC-DC, AC-DC, and DC-AC converters in the 20kW power range.

You'll also manage the team's daily activities, unblock technical and administrative hurdles, and ensure project delivery with all certifications and production readiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of power electronics and controls engineers on project execution
  • Making architectural and design decisions for power converters
  • Managing team activities and resolving technical/administrative issues
  • Ensuring project delivery with all certifications and production readiness
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 15 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing power converters
  • Experience leading teams and making design and development decisions
  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC and safety compliance processes
  • Ability to deliver full NPIs in power converters
  • Embedded controller-based design experience preferred
  • Experience selecting power conversion topologies and transitioning products to production
