Job Title: Data Science and Operations Specialist
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Science and Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions to drive business growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, IT, electronics, communication, or engineering-related field, or data-intensive related fields such as applied mathematics, economics, physics, or statistics.
- Professional experience as a Data Scientist, ML Engineer, or related role in the private sector, including developing optimization algorithms or machine learning or deep learning models in production settings for 3 or more years.
- Strong proficiency in wrangling datasets through Pandas, Dask, or other Python-based data science libraries.
- Strong fundamentals in solving analytical problems with various algorithmic solutions.
- Professional experience in end-to-end system design, data analysis, feature engineering, technique selection, implementation, debugging, and maintenance in production.
- Experience in structuring, presenting, and communicating work results.
- Ability to create advanced analytical models that are fit for purpose and scalable, to identify insightful trends and patterns from the data.
- Flexible working hours.

Our ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Generative AI models, knowledge of existing and upcoming platforms and vendors in the market, and ability to leverage them creatively into wider business solutions. Additionally, they should have experience working on data science for social good problem statements, and be able to present complex business and technology problems and solutions in a simple form to address the level of audience from C-level executive sponsors and business owners to engineering and operational teams.
