Job Title: Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Markovate. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing advanced data science solutions to solve complex business problems and drive innovation within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement robust machine learning models with a focus on statistical methods and classic ML algorithms.
  • Develop and deploy scalable and robust machine learning pipelines and solutions using MLOps best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and define requirements for data science projects.
  • Explore and experiment with new technologies, tools, and techniques to continuously improve and enhance our data science capabilities.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior members of the data science team.
  • Stay current with the latest developments in the field of data science and machine learning.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on statistical ML and classic ML techniques.
  • Proficiency in data modeling and model evaluation methodologies.
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms such as linear and logistic regression, decision trees, k-means clustering, random forests, SVMs, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn) or other data science programming languages.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI models and Large Language Models (LLMs) is a plus.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, and PyTorch is a plus.
