Senior PHP Developer Role

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior PHP Developer to join our team and drive innovation in software development.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with PHP frameworks, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong analytical abilities.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and managing database architecture, developing high-performance backend applications, and ensuring robust application security practices.

You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features, integrate front-end elements, and solve complex performance problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable, high-performance backend applications using PHP frameworks.
  • Design and manage database architecture to support business processes.
  • Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
  • Ensure robust application security and data protection practices.
  • Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

  • 4-6+ years of hands-on experience with PHP and frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, Zend, CakePHP, etc.
  • A deep understanding of MVC architecture and object-oriented programming.
  • Solid knowledge of PHP's synchronous behavior.
  • Experience with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
  • Strong grasp of web security best practices and common PHP/web server vulnerabilities.
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and query languages.
  • Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
  • Proficient with Git or other version control systems.
  • Ability to integrate multiple data sources and handle authentication across systems.
