Job Title: Financial Expert

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Expert to join our accounting firm. This role is designed to support our US-based clientele, providing comprehensive financial services in compliance with US GAAP and IRS guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Presentation of accurate and timely financial statements
  • Handling of US federal and state tax returns
  • Management and performance of financial audits, internal controls reviews, and regulatory compliance assessments
  • Consultation with clients regarding tax planning, financial strategy, and regulatory compliance
  • Liaising effectively with US-based clients
  • Maintenance of strong client relationships
  • Ensuring compliance with IRS regulations and state-specific tax rules
  • Advisory support on US financial reporting standards and regulations
  • Stay updated on developments and changes in US tax laws and accounting standards
  • Mentorship and oversight of junior accountants and support staff
Requirements & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), USA certification mandatory
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working directly with US accounting and taxation
  • Proficient understanding of US GAAP, tax laws, and IRS regulations
  • Prior experience in managing audits, financial reporting, and compliance assessments for US clients
  • Experience in Big 4 or US-focused accounting firms preferred
  • Proficiency in accounting software and taxation tools
