Android Malware Expert

We are seeking an experienced Android Malware Expert to perform in-depth analysis of Android malware, reverse-engineer malicious APKs and SDKs, and identify threats.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze Android malware using various tools and techniques.
  • Reverse-engineer malicious APKs and SDKs to understand behavior and intent.
  • Identify network traffic and backend systems for vulnerabilities and data leakage.
  • Document findings and present reports to technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teams to improve threat detection pipelines and automation systems.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Android internals and lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of mobile app store policies and security best practices.
  • Experience with static and dynamic analysis, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, Flutter, and Python.
  • Experience with reverse engineering tools like Ghidra, IDA Pro, Frida, Jadx, Burp Suite, and HTTPToolkit.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of security techniques and platforms such as VirusTotal, ExploitDB, MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Experience with tool development, custom reverse engineering tools, and automation scripts.
  • Understanding of network traffic analysis and protocol interception.
  • PHA category definitions and IOCs.
  • SOC operations, SIEM configuration, IDS/IPS systems.
